Welcome to The Truth Therapy, where healing begins with honesty. I believe in the power of truth to help you break free from emotional and psychological barriers. My goal is to provide a supportive space for self-discovery and transformation, empowering you to build the life you deserve with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, couples therapy, or family therapy, I am here to guide you through your healing journey with compassion and care.
I'm so glad you're here! I became a therapist because I believe in the power of healing, growth, and self-discovery. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. Healing through honesty, growth through truth is the foundation of my approach—creating a space where you feel safe to explore your emotions, gain clarity, and move toward lasting change.
With years of experience in the mental health field, I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or self-esteem, I’m here to help you uncover your inner strength and move toward a more fulfilling life.
My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and cultural awareness. I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to create a plan tailored to your unique needs. I strive to offer a culturally affirming space where you can explore your identity, challenges, and personal growth without fear of judgment.
In addition to offering virtual sessions, I am passionate about community advocacy, continuing education, and working to reduce the stigma around mental health, particularly in communities of color. I proudly serve clients in both Texas and Florida.
Therapy is a journey, and you don't have to navigate it alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Let’s start your path to healing together.
At The Truth Therapy, individual therapy is a space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, or simply feeling stuck, therapy provides the support and tools to help you move forward.
I take a compassionate, client-centered approach, ensuring that your unique experiences and needs guide our work together. Using evidence-based techniques like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, we’ll identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more empowering and realistic beliefs. Beyond just insight, therapy will equip you with practical strategies to manage stress, regulate emotions, and develop long-term coping skills that support your well-being.
Whether you're working through past trauma, rebuilding self-esteem, or learning to manage anxiety and depression, we’ll create a personalized plan to help you feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your life.
At The Truth Therapy, couples counseling is a space for connection, healing, and growth. Relationships can be challenging, and when communication breaks down, it can leave you feeling disconnected, frustrated, or uncertain about the future. My goal is to help you and your partner navigate these complexities with understanding, respect, and compassion.
Whether you're facing a major life transition, struggling with unresolved conflicts, or simply looking to strengthen your emotional intimacy, couples therapy can be a transformative experience. Together, we’ll identify the root causes of tension, improve communication skills, and develop practical strategies to build a healthier, more fulfilling partnership.
No matter where you are in your relationship, you deserve support. Let’s work together to create the connection and understanding you both need to move forward.
At The Truth Therapy, family counseling provides a supportive space for families to heal, communicate, and grow together. Family relationships can be complicated, and challenges like miscommunication, unresolved conflict, life transitions, or past wounds can create distance and tension. My goal is to help families reconnect, improve understanding, and strengthen their bond in a way that fosters lasting change.
Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, we will work to identify patterns that contribute to conflict, enhance communication skills, and create a healthier dynamic that supports each member of the family. Whether you're navigating parenting challenges, blended family dynamics, grief, or generational patterns, therapy can help your family move forward with greater understanding and unity.
Every family has its unique story, and I’m here to guide you through the process of building stronger, healthier relationships.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas, I provide clinical supervision for LPC Associates working towards full licensure. My supervision approach is structured, supportive, and growth-oriented, designed to help you develop your professional identity, enhance clinical skills, and navigate the ethical and legal guidelines set by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (TSBEPC).
Supervision includes case consultation, theoretical application, skill development, and self-reflection to ensure you gain the confidence and competence needed for independent practice. I emphasize ethical decision-making, cultural competence, and evidence-based interventions to help you provide high-quality care to diverse populations.
I’m committed to creating a collaborative and encouraging learning environment where you feel supported, while also being challenged to grow. Whether you're just starting your journey or transitioning into independent practice, I’d love to support your professional development.
